What's Covered

What's Not Covered
Manufacturer Product Defects
Items such as faucets, shower valves, toilets, fixtures, appliances, and tile and grout materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty (typically 1-5 years depending on the brand). We'll gladly assist you with any manufacturer warranty claims during your coverage period.
Normal Wear and Tear
Expected aging, discoloration from use, or minor cosmetic issues from regular use. Tile and grout are covered by manufacturer warranties only.
Improper Maintenance
Damage resulting from failure to maintain proper ventilation, cleaning with harsh chemicals, or neglecting recommended care.
Misuse or Accidents
Damage from impacts, dropped objects, unauthorized modifications, or use outside of intended purpose.
Warranty Transferability
Original Owner
The full 15-year workmanship warranty applies to the original homeowner who contracted the work. This warranty is non-transferable in its full term.
If You Sell Your Home
Should you sell your property, a limited 1-year warranty transfers to the new homeowner from the date of sale, covering the same workmanship and installation items.
How to File a Warranty Claim
Submit Your Claim
Once logged in, navigate to the Warranty section and click "Submit Claim." You'll be able to select your project, describe the issue, upload photos, and provide details about when the issue was discovered. Our system will automatically verify your warranty eligibility.
Track Your Claim
After submission, you can track your claim status in real-time through your portal. You'll receive email notifications when your claim is reviewed, approved, or if we need additional information. Most claims are reviewed within 24-48 hours (emergency claims within 4 hours).

Additional Terms & Conditions
• This warranty is provided in addition to, not in place of, any manufacturer warranties on products installed.
• Warranty coverage begins on the date of project completion and final payment.
• To maintain warranty coverage, the bathroom must be used and maintained according to standard residential practices and manufacturer care instructions.
• KimberTec reserves the right to inspect the work and determine the cause of any issues before providing warranty service.
• In the event of a covered warranty issue, KimberTec will repair or replace the defective workmanship at our discretion.
• This warranty does not cover consequential damages (e.g., water damage to adjacent rooms, temporary housing costs).
• Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue.
